Driving at break-neck speed, turning and twisting to pick-up the pieces of the past. What do they teach us? As thoughts flood into the mind things come to a complete stop. Where do they take us? It's never enough, it would seem, to take all the pieces of the puzzle and bring them together. Only to find out there's still a missing piece. A piece, lost in a deep thicket of thorns beckoning for someone to come find it. At once it's found. Is it worth the pain?
If I write in the dark would anyone see the words? Think about this. Isn't a blog a lot like writing in the dark? One can only hope that there words get seen, or someone sees fit to turn the lights on long enough to read. There are how many millions of blogs, and growing, out there and the chances of having yours read must be 1 in whatever millions of people are in cyberspace. And do blog writer's get lonely? It must be lonely standing out there in the dark. Life's funny that way.
It seems the Six Sigma and I don't get a long. Not that improving production is a bad thing. I just don't know if the Six Sigma mindset works well for creativity and innovation. Learn from experience. So back to the grind of looking for full-time work. At least I'll have more time to spend with the kids. I've been so busy I haven't seen them much lately and I miss them.
Good and evil reside in all of us. How we use those forces to guide our lives is our choice. For some it is a constant battle between the two and for others, the choices seem clear. Fate plays a hand in directing one as does your upbringing. But these things can be overcome, if need be. So, again choice plays the major role.
