Last weekend's opportunity to speak to students about the ups and downs was great fun and good from a networking sense of meeting other professionals outside of just my normal 'designer' crowd.
Karen is back from Chicago (she was gone from Monday night until really late Friday night). I had the kids all week and let me just say it's a very hard job to take care of two kids, work full-time, go to all the 'kid' events and attempt to keep a house clean. I really have no clue how our parents managed it all. I didn't even get the laundry done. (Kids wore clean clothes all week, though). At least things didn't get any messier. I just sort of kept everything at an acceptable level and worked from there.
Today, we're off to hike in nearby Gunpower Falls State Park while Karen gets some work done. And congrat's to my TERPS on their exciting win against North Carolina yesterday.
