Yesterday's training session how how to be a leader for a non-profit organization was both engaging, educational and inspiring. And if you need a speaker for your organization, drop Vicki a line and tell her I recommended her. She kept an entire room of designers involved and interested for three hours and got a standing ovation at the end.
Woke up at 6:45 again and mangaged to get down to the lobby Startbucks around 7:30. I have a meeting and then at 9:00 am will be co-moderating one of our conference break-out sessions. Moderating is more about keeping the conversation flowing and making sure things don't get off topic. And my co-moderator and I have the agenda set so that the session will be a productive one, with action steps that people will be able to take back to their chapters and implement on the local level.
We had a cocktail party at the Warhol Museum last night and the museum itself was awesome. If you are going to be in Pittsburgh, I would definitely put it on your list. Okay, time to change some files names so that they are more discernible and then off too another full day of work.
