Chocolate was out this year but I did get Karen a nice bouquet of flowers and a card. It was a pretty hectic day as uaual. I took Izzy to gymnastics this morning and then the two of us hungout at Starbucks in Mt. Washington (a little village in the north part of the city). Needless to say, I'm so hung over from last night that everytime I sat down someplace quiet, I fell asleep. Go ahead, laugh. I deserve the pain and suffering but last night was so worth it. Terrance Simien rocked and we all had a great time.
So, while I continue to be drowsy, I look forward more and more to the end of April, when we will take to the road sans kids, and attend the first weekend of JazzFest. Can't wait.
