Before we go out, K hasn't even showered yet, the sitter is here and I'm about to crash...but I know, in my heart I know, that once I step out into the cold air I'll get my second wind. It's just that this damn sofa is so comfortable. I digress.

By the way, after being together for almost eleven years, Valentine's Day is well, just as it was when we first met. I still haven't bought her a card, nor the kids, but will do so in the morning after I take Izzy to gymnastics. At least, and this is my rationalization, that I didn't forget it was Valentine's Day.
